Anthony Gatune Foundation Restores Hope to Elderly Man After Devastating Fire Incident

The Anthony Gatune Foundation continues to transform lives and restore dignity within communities through acts of compassion and community support. In a remarkable humanitarian effort, the foundation has successfully progressed the construction of a new home for an elderly man who tragically lost his house and belongings in a devastating fire incident that occurred on Sunday.

What began as an urgent appeal for support quickly turned into a mission of hope, unity, and restoration. Today, we are pleased to announce that the project is now approximately 80% complete, bringing renewed hope and comfort to the elderly man who had been left homeless and forced to sleep outdoors after the fire destroyed everything he owned.

Community Support Making a Real Difference

This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication, commitment, and hard work of Team Gatune together with the generous support from well-wishers, volunteers, and members of the community who came together to support this noble cause.

The initiative reflects the core values of the Anthony Gatune Foundation — compassion, humanity, dignity, and uplifting vulnerable members of society. By standing together as a community, lives are being rebuilt and hope restored where it was once lost.

Providing Shelter, Dignity, and Hope

Access to safe shelter is a basic human need. Following the tragic fire incident, immediate intervention became necessary to ensure the elderly man would no longer endure harsh weather conditions or sleep in the open.

The ongoing construction project is more than just building walls and a roof — it represents a renewed chance at life, security, and dignity for someone in need. The foundation remains committed to ensuring vulnerable individuals within our communities receive the support and care they deserve.

Donations and Support Still Needed

As the project nears completion, donations of essential household items are still welcome. Items such as:

  • Blankets
  • Bedding
  • Clothes
  • Food supplies
  • Basic household necessities

Donations can be delivered at:
Witemere Kamae, Kahawa West Ward, Nairobi.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a meaningful impact and helps restore comfort and dignity to those facing difficult circumstances.

Thank You to Everyone Supporting the Mission

The Anthony Gatune Foundation extends heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has contributed financially, physically, emotionally, or spiritually toward this initiative. Your kindness and generosity continue to inspire positive change in our communities.

Together, we are proving that humanity, unity, and compassion can overcome hardship and restore hope.
